Unlike other outdoor advertising companies, pHence it offer environmentally friendly options when it comes to their advertising materials. pHence it choose to use HDPE (High-density polyethylene ) shade cloths for all our printed shade cloth advertising as it is the world's second most recycled plastic (PETE is #1).
The most common material used for outdoor advertising is PVC however this produces a number of environmental issues due to the use of additives of the material (lead, cadmium, and phthalates) and also management of its waste. No fewer than 6 of the world's 15 most hazardous chemicals are present in the production of this materials which is harmful to both humans and the environment.
Recycled HDPE is the preferred plastic for the production of Wheelie bins, after going through rigorous testing it was found to be the most suitable and environmentally friendly option. HDPE mortars are preferred to PVC because they are more durable and more importantly they are much safer compared to PVC.
